Chris Flynn played for the Saint Mary's Huskies from 1987-1990 and is the only player to win the Hec Crighton MVP 3 times. He played for Montreal Machine of the World League in 1991-92, in France from 1993-96, and Ottawa Rough Riders of the CFL in 1996. He was inducted into SMU Hall of Fame in 2001, Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 2011, and Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame in 2015. A Sportsnet poll and TSN's Gridiron Nation voted Chris as the #1 player in Usport history. In 2019 Flynn’s #1 was the first jersey ever retired by SMU. In 1994 Flynn received a Medal of Honor for Bravery for saving a young woman from drowning in the Seine River in France.
Paul Hollingsworth is a reporter and anchor for CTV Atlantic, where he began his career in 1995. For more than 20 years, Paul has also been a reporter and anchor for TSN Sportscentre. Born and raised in Halifax, Paul has reported on the MLB postseason and World Series, Super Bowl, FIFA World Cup, Stanley Cup Playoffs, NBA, Tim Hortons Brier and IIHF World Junior Championship. Paul has also authored three books and co-authored a fourth book.
